Must we be a church group?
Nope! Although JCJ is designed for church groups, any group of 8-10 people may enjoy a JCJ tour! (family members, friends, coworkers, etc.) Please note that the daily prayer and devotional time is a regular part of the JCJ experience regardless of the nature of the group.
Can our group be from more than one church?
Absolutely, but please have only one point person with whom Jeff can communicate.
What if we have more than 10 people?
Our custom van has seating for only 10 guests. Jeff is happy to provide a second tour if desired.
Is there an age limit?
No, although JCJ is designed for adults and teens. Please note that some tour destinations may have limited appeal to younger age groups and that you must be 13 years old or older to serve in an OCC Processing Center (tours 7 and 9). Guests on an Open Tour must be 18 years old or older.
Is food allowed in the van?
Yes. Snacks and water will be provided, and you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks as well. Please be mindful of others in the van, and alcohol is prohibited.
Is there a restroom in the van?
No. Rest stops are planned every two hours or so as we travel. If you need to stop sooner, no problem at all, just let Jeff know.
Do you offer tours in the winter?
No, tours usually occur mid-March to mid-December.
Can we customize our Small Group Tour?
Absolutely! You can choose from a variety of hotels, restaurants, and attractions. You can also customize the schedule as well.
What promotional materials are available?
Once your dates and details have been selected, you will receive Tour Detail handouts and Tour Schedule handouts to share with others. If desired, posters and bulletin inserts are available as well.
Can Jeff come to our church in person to promote our tour?
Yes, Jeff is happy to present a fun, one-hour, multi-media presentation about your tour at no additional charge.
Are catalogs available?
You bet! The 2026 catalog is now available! Just contact Jeff at jeff@jcj.tours or at 717-371-0840 (call or text) and he will get you as many catalogs as you would like.
Must the group leader collect the registrations and money?
No way! Each guest registers online and makes payments directly to Jeff online or through the mail.
